Berne Convention Status of the Falkland Islands
The Falkland Islands is not part of the Berne Convention, meaning the Intellectual Property Rights Office cannot provide any guarantees about the protection you may be able to claim for works created in The Falkland Islands, either within The Falkland Islands or in other countries. You may still register your work and may still benefit from doing so, but it is recommended that you consult an intellectual property lawyer familiar with the copyright law covering The Falkland Islands for advice before doing so.
