Copyright
Copyright can be claimed over any original creative work which is recorded in some way – be that through it being written down, recorded on an audio or audio-visual device, saved to a computer, or any other means.
The rules governing copyright are determined by a variety of international treaties, the most important of which is the Berne Convention.
Berne Convention Status of Rwanda
Rwanda is part of the Berne Convention. Work created in Rwanda is eligible for registration through the Intellectual Property Rights Office's Copyright Registration Service.
